Rock Corral Recreation Area
The Rock Corral Recreation Area sits near the Mineral Mountain Range towering with gorgeous granite peaks and jutting rocks. The area provides access to hiking, camping, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more. The Mineral Mountains almost look akin to Yosemite and the mineral-rich area boasts silver, blue beryl, smoky quartz, opal, and other spectacular gems. Rock Corral is the largest granite batholith in Utah and is popular for rock-hounders seeking to collect the incredible stones. These mountain peaks aren’t as promoted as neighboring attractions and the area is lightly trafficked– Rock Corral is truly a hidden gem!
