Grandpa’s Pond Park

Grandpas’ Pond Park is a local gem complete with a fishing pond, paved walking trail around the pond, and large grassy areas for picnics. The 1.5 mile loop around the pond offers a family-friendly leisurely walk and is popular for fishing, birding, and running. Kayaking is permitted at the pond and ducks, turtles, and a variety of waterfowl can be seen all over the park. The area is very clean and well-maintained and offers a serene environment to play, relax, or adventure.

Important Information:

• Dogs are welcome at this park but must be leashed and kept on the paved pathways and sidewalks. 
• The park is family friendly and the trails are relatively flat and smooth. The walking trail is stroller friendly!
• Clean bathrooms are located near the grassy area.
• The park has a playground and 20-hole disc golf course available for free. 
• There are BBQ facilities near the playground available to the public.  
• There is minimal shade at this park. Wear sunscreen and pack plenty of water and snacks. 
• Smoking, vaping, and alcohol are prohibited at this park. 
• Make sure to check out the railed floating dock for fishing, birding, or relaxing!
• There is no fee for this park.
