The Wave
One of the most iconic and remote hikes in the American Southwest, The Wave is characterized by swirling rock formations and striated candy-like sandstone waves. Located in the Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness, The Wave is other-worldly and mesmerizing through the variety of colors and earth tones rippling through the cliffs. The formation of The Wave is believed to date back to the Jurassic period! Many hikers have found dinosaur tracks in the area.
